Recent Home Loan Success Stories
One of the most rewarding parts of our roles as mortgage advisers is helping people achieve their lending goals.

No two situations are alike. Each house purchase has its own unique journey, but we always strive for the same outcome. Helping our clients make informed decisions while supporting them each step of the way.
We thought we’d share some our recent client journeys and how together we made the magic happen through good advice, planning and support.
First Home Buyer with a Vision
One of our recent first home buyers approached us because they had a really clear goal of the house they wanted to buy in a certain neighbourhood. They spent a couple months putting in the work to be application ready and then quickly got their home loan pre-approval.
Once they had their pre-approval, it was time for house hunting. As they knew exactly what they were looking for, it didn’t take long to find a couple options that ticked the boxes. Unfortunately, they had a couple properties where their offer wasn’t accepted. However, with a stroke of luck, the deal on a property they had missed out on ended up falling through and their back up offer was accepted. They then had a smooth settlement process and are now living in the house they pictured for themselves!
A Home with Room to Grow
We recently had clients who had purchased their first home a couple years ago, buying what they could at the time then sitting on it until they were ready for the next step. They were now looking to sell and buy a bigger family home closer to their children’s schools. They wanted to purchase with 20% deposit, so they had a minimum sale price that they stuck to. Once they found their new home and had a purchaser for their existing, they arranged for a contemporaneous settlement, with the sale and purchase both being on the same day. They're now settling into their new home that better meets their needs.
A Step Forward in their Goals
An existing client approached us as their home loan was coming off its fixed rate and they were wanting to take advantage of refinancing to the new lender and getting a cash contribution. At the same time, they had some short-term debt with a high interest rate that they decided to consolidate into their home loan as a part of the refinance.
However, rather than combining the consolidated debt with their home loan on a 20-year term, they instead kept it separate on a shorter loan term. This meant that rather than taking a step backward and taking longer to pay off the debt, they would stick to paying it off quicker as they were already doing so.
If one of these stories stuck out to you and your similar situation, we’d love to help. Whether you’re looking at buying, refinancing or just want some guidance on future plans, we’re here to simply have that first chat before making any big decisions.
